Polyester POY, or Partially Oriented Yarn, serves as the precursor yarn for DTY (Draw Textured Yarn). It is directly spun from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) chips via melt spinning technology using spinning equipment. At high winding speeds, the fibers develop a certain degree of orientation, which ensures structural stability of the yarn.
