As experienced HT Nylon 6 Yarn manufacturers, we offer high tenacity nylon 6 yarn – a high-strength continuous filament derived from polycaprolactam (PA6) through ring-opening polymerization of caprolactam, followed by melt spinning, drawing setting, and twisting.

Features:

• High strength & high modulus: Far higher breaking strength than regular nylon 6 yarn, combining excellent toughness and lightweight performance with outstanding load-bearing capacity.
• Superior elasticity: High elastic recovery rate, quick rebound after deformation, excellent wrinkle resistance and remarkable dimensional stability of finished products.
• Excellent wear resistance: Abrasion resistance is much better than cotton, wool and most synthetic fibers; it resists friction and wear effectively to greatly extend the service life of products.
• Moderate hygroscopicity: Moisture regain is around 2.4%, which improves hand feel and wearing comfort without excessive moisture absorption affecting strength and modulus.
• Good chemical resistance: Resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis, grease and most organic solvents, suitable for industrial and outdoor applications; not resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis and strong oxidants.
• Easy processability: Mature polymerization and spinning processes, adaptable to twisting, setting modification and additive blending (e.g. antioxidant, UV-resistant, flame-retardant agents) for various post-processing procedures.
• High cost performance: Simpler production process and lower cost than nylon 66 high tenacity yarn, with good dyeability and light resistance.
• Performance note: Melting point is about 215℃, with slightly inferior high-temperature stability and fatigue resistance compared to nylon 66; processing and service temperature should be well controlled.
